From the moment we walked in it felt so cosy and welcoming . The staff were so friendly . We were shown around the wine cellar and the private dining space .. which was fabulous . We then got shown around the art gallery and pottery room by a delightful lady . Our room was immaculate !
We went down to dinner and were treated so well by the bar staff and the Maitre de Maison Josh . It was a perfect stay from start to finish
We loved everything .. and feel that next time we come there will be something new and different to enjoy !

The food was a hit, amazing tasting menu, excellent breakfast, great whisky list.
The grounds and artwork everywhere. The staff, so kind, so attentive.
Our room. It was a reasonable size but needed serious refurbishing, especially the bathroom. Bathroom was old fashioned and smelly, carpets filthy beyond cleaning, you would not want your bare feet to touch it. No air conditioning, fan covering half of the an antique-ish wardrobe. My son joked that the bed had a hole in it. Ours were fine but linen itchy, perhaps not the usual luxury hotel tread count. So not worth the 400+ quid.
