Location of the apartment was perfect; right on the promenade with easy access to the beach, arcades, bars and restaurants; all within a 5 minute walk.
Free, secure parking in a large garage was a bonus, and one of the reasons we chose the apartment, although at the time we went (Feb) there were also plenty of parking spaces available in the car park at the rear of the apartment (about £10/day).
Apartment (5) was very modern, bright and clean, with great facilities; TVs in lounge and bedrooms that would accept firesticks, large fridge freezer. Shared washer and dryer (available on the same floor) - great for drying towels and Jeans (when we had to walk back from town in the rain). Wi-Fi / Connectivity was good. Loads of space for coats and shoes.
Shower was amazing, loads of hot water and the toiletries provided smelt lovely. Loads of fluffy white towels available and a hairdryer on the bathroom wall.
One of the bedrooms had a small private balcony that had views of the harbour which my teenage daughter loved.
We had control over the heating levels in each room - even in Feb it was lovely and toasty.
Host was quick to respond to Qs and provided loads of information on where to eat and what to see. Welcome pack of 'essentials' was useful and a small shop, a 2 minute walk away, provided the rest.
We saw dolphins swimming in the bay.
More shops and restaurants open than I expected for February (although things closed quite early in the evening). Scarborough market hall had loads of amazing craft shops - well worth a visit.
There was nothing 'bad' and I would definitely choose to stay there again.
The cooker and microwave were both turned off when we arrived and we didn't find them intuitive to use - we had to google instructions on how to work them, after that it was fine. We didn't bother James, I'm sure he would have shown us how to use them if we'd asked.
It was quite noisy (even on the top floor) if you opened the lounge windows, but we were right on the promenade, so it was to be expected, and it was fascinating watching the boats come and go. NOTE: It was quieter in the bedrooms at the back.

Gorgeous, spacious apartment with stunning views of the sea. Very stylish and comfortable. The breakfast bits and pieces were a nice touch! Excellent communication from the host. The Shower is amazing! A really fantastic place to stay!
