The whole experience was great, the staff was kind, the room was clean, the bed was extremely confortable, maybe the room a bit small, but with all the the rest, it did not matter! We spent a lot of time outside thanks to the wonderful weather, we were at the spa, at the garden and we loved it all!

The view, the comfort of the bed, the breakfast and the swimming pool and the gardens. Also the safe parking.
Dinner restaurant menu didn't change and was a bit expensive.

The location is amazing, the views and the grounds are beautiful, the hotel is extremely comfortable and the staff were lovely.
A couple of small letdowns in the room, ie grubby paintwork and having to climb in/stand in a rather dated plastic bath to take a shower, where the glass panel didn’t close properly and the shower leaked on the floor unless the panel was held in place by hand - which is difficult when you’re trying to shower.

the position was amazing
the staff was rude and not so helpful
we were serve wine in ridiculously small glasses and when we ask for a change the waiter literally throw new glasses at us and roll his eyes
