pretty nice place. Located in the corner of Abersee village and surrounded by woods and trails so it's really quiet. Not extra difficult to access than other towns in the St. Gilgen region. The ferry runs frequently and takes you right to the Schafberg zug station and the water activity center in St. Wolfgang. If you miss the last ferry at 6pm (it's very punctual), you can also reach Abersee by bus. Bus drivers will tell you how to connect. Just ask. Friendly and helpful staff. Room is tidy and new. Food is alright. Fresh and homemade. Breakfast is great. For me, it's a far better choice than those places in St. Wolfgang or St. Gilgen because it's away from the crowd yet still accessible.
