Reception staff were excellent and made a very positive impression throughout our stay.
Overall Stay was great
we were disappointed with the breakfast team, as their service was noticeably below par. When the eggs at the buffet ran out, I had to request replenishment several times, but the response felt uninterested and slow. This is an area where improvement is clearly needed. Aside from this issue, everything else was brilliant.

Rooms were big
Travel cots for babies do not come with a mattress its a hard surface which is part of the travel cot case.

service offered by staff in the dining room was excellent
the food was pleasant
our large group of 18 was well looked after by Sara and her team on Saturday evening
the perfume/airfreshener at reception was overpowering and not to my taste
bar service on Saturday afternoon was poor, not enough staff on duty and the girl on duty had no idea of how to make some drinks e.g Aperol spritz , G and T, don't think she had been trained yet
I wanted a manicure and pedicure at the Spa but was told by them that they didn't offer this ....a bit strange for a Spa ?

Overall it’s not too bad and the pool was handy, lots of parking and easy access to the motorway.
The fact you’re charged £30 to check in early even though the rooms are ready. Really sad this policy exists purely to get more money out of you, even when we had a 2 year old with us we could not have the room any earlier without the £30 charge. The hotel is also in need of some TLC, bit dated and shabby in some areas.
