Lovely spacious, sparkling clean, room in quiet countryside. Very comfy with a much appreciated car park. The staff were sweet and helpful. Could not have asked for more.
No sign of any of the negative features (sewerage smells etc) mentioned in previous reviews, which had nearly put us off booking.

I liked the look of the hotel on the approach and also inside. Clean and bright which made it feel welcoming. I also liked the welcome I got from the member of staff, I didn't get her name, on reception. Very helpful when I needed a number for a local taxi firm as I didn't travel with a car. Caught the lady a couple of times over the duration of my stay and always smiled and said hello.
As mentioned above, I didn't travel with transport ie car, so getting about the area was difficult. The toilet was difficult to flush which I passed on to a staff member when I checked out. I only mentioned it then as I didn't find it overly annoying for my stay but didn't want the following guest(s) to have more difficulty with it.
