Only 15-25 minute drive to Leicester (depending on traffic) staff were really lovely
The room was really warm even with the window open and you could constantly hear doors opening in the corridor really loudly which felt like the room shook The bathroom also smelt strange when we arrived

Good quality hotel on motorway services. A good base for travel. Plenty of access to food and drink options, if the location does demand a price increase for these.
Warm weather meant the room was unbearably hot for sleeping. No way to cool the room as I stayed on ground floor and an open window would mean anyone could break in.

Location
Had to pay to park . Never have I ever paid to park at a services . It wasn’t the cost but the principal of it. I would never use a Days inn again for this reason
