Its location!
The room we were given was subject to a mechanical noise that was intermittent. It stopped at midnight and started again at 5AM 😳 it continued until 7.30 AM and kept me awake. It was so bad I recorded it on a voice note. I reported to the staff on checking out but they didn’t seem too bothered that I hadn’t slept. Surely the point of a hotel is to get a good nights sleep! The rooms were also very warm with little ventilation.
