A very beautiful beach hotel near the center of Marbella. A wonderful large room with a stunning sea view and a good selection in the minibar. The hotel has many bars and restaurants (especially the rooftop bar with a stunning view). Breakfasts are excellent. A wonderful relaxing massage in the spa area. A very convenient location, close to the promenade and the city center. Special thanks to the reception staff for the complimentary bottle of sparkling wine upon arrival. Overall, the hotel felt like a 5-star experience.
Sometimes we had to wait a long time for the elevator. There are not enough sun beds compared to the number of hotel guests.

Hotel Beach -was clean and nice vibe. Easy to get a sun lounger.
Deco- was interesting and quirky.
Location - was ideal for strolling into the old town.
Around the hotel- the hotel had a nice ambience with the background music and scent in the reception area, clean and bright.
Rooms-My room was very basic, lack of wardrobe space, no drawers at all to put clothes, pillows were very firm and I got a neck ache. The room was very noisy, I could hear the traffic from the road all the time including the early hours so I did not sleep well. I requested to switch rooms or upgrade but they were unable to which probably ruined the holiday. They did not offer me any form of gesture of goodwill or complimentary services/items when I raised my complaint.
The TV signal was also temperamental in my room and didn't work half the time. The TV didn't work at all in my mother's room. Very disappointing and not to the standard we would expect.
Checking in- very long wait and lengthy process. Staff were friendly but not proactive or attentive which I would expect for this sort of hotel. Likewise, guests are issued with too many cards- one for the room and one for claiming beach towels- completely inefficient and unnecessary in my view. Moreover, my room key card didn't work for the gym (which it should have done like it did for both my family members who were in separate rooms) so the reception staff issued me a third card to use just for the gym hence I found carrying three cards was ridiculous.
Gym- very basic, lack of more equipment especially resistence and weight-training equipment like cable machines, barbells, or pull up bars. One of the bikes did not work either.
Worst issue of all was there was no air-con very stuffy and uncomfortable to workout in the gym.
Lifts- there were three lifts for the whole hotel which isn't enough. My family and I would resort to using the stairs as this was quicker than waiting for one of the lifts.
Spa- Guests are only permitted one free hour (for the whole of their stay) to use the spa which is poor value for money in my view.
