Loved our stay here. Especially loved the dip in the pool after a hot day in Florence. Evening meals at the restaurant and breakfast in the mornings were real highlights. We stayed for 2 nights and would loved to have stayed longer.

The host was extremely helpful and genuinely kind. Every morning, we met him in the hotel hall before breakfast—he always asked if we needed any assistance and shared useful information about the area, the accommodation, and how to get to Florence, as well as recommendations on places worth visiting.
The staff we met during breakfast (which was absolutely delicious and plentiful!) and at the reception were all very friendly and provided excellent, efficient service. Our room was cleaned while we were at breakfast, so it was always spotless and perfectly arranged when we returned.
By the way, each room is beautifully designed in a vintage style inspired by Renaissance artists such as Monet, Michelangelo, Mantegna, and Van Gogh—what a wonderful idea! The villa itself and the surrounding nature are stunning; it’s truly worth staying here just to enjoy a peaceful walk around the grounds.
We’re only sorry we didn’t get a chance to leave our feedback in the Guest Book, as we had to leave very early and the reception was still closed. We would definitely love to come back and stay at this amazing villa again—it would be our great pleasure!
The shower didn’t have a door or curtain, so it was a bit uncomfortable when water splashed outside and made the floor wet.
There were also not enough power outlets for charging our phones — we had to unplug the lamps to use the sockets.

Friendly staff and a nice setting
I travel often, but I can't remember ever having such an uncomfortable room in a hotel. My room was divided into three levels. When you enter the room, you have a large area that felt like a "lobby" or waiting area. There was a tiny desk and two tiny chairs. I have been in more comfortable and warm doctor's office waiting rooms. The bed was up a flight of stairs from there and had no windows. The bathroom was DOWN another flight of stairs from the "lobby". To get up to use the bathroom in the night meant navigating two flights of stairs. In the "lobby" area there were two tiny chairs that may have been comfortable for a child, but an adult man of 6' 200 lbs could barely fit into one, never mind be at all comfortable. I brought in a metal chair from the patio but eventually decided to simply go to bed because there was simply no place to sit and relax in the room. The grounds are pretty and there was a nice walking path, but I would probably have been more comfortable sitting in my car all night. It's a shame, as the staff were very welcoming and I had been very excited about my stay due to so many positive reviews.
