Le Hameau

Le Hameau is simply one of those places that stays with you long after you leave. Tucked away a short walk from the beautiful old village of Saint-Paul de Vence, it has the feel of a private Provençal home rather than a hotel — all charm, warmth, and genuine hospitality. The setting is magical: beautiful gardens, a lovely pool, and that unmistakable southern French light filtering through everything. But what really sets Le Hameau apart is the people. The team treat you like family from the moment you arrive — nothing is too much trouble, every small detail is taken care of, and they go above and beyond in ways that feel completely natural rather than scripted. For families especially, this is the perfect base. Close enough to the village to wander up for dinner, peaceful enough to feel completely away from it all. We left feeling genuinely looked after. If you're looking for somewhere that captures everything magical about the Côte d'Azur — beauty, warmth, and that rare sense of being truly welcome — Le Hameau is it. We will absolutely be back.

We loved it

The hotel grounds were beautifully appointed with so many details that made the place comfortable and esthetically pleasing. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly, and provided us with top notch hospitality.

From cleaning staff to management everybody was on top of their game. Beautiful place just small enough to enjoy privacy. I rented the double room for four off us and it was ideal. Do not hesitate booking this hotel.

Not enough time to stay longer.

Walk into village ( no footpath for part) good swimming pool . Antique room .

No evening meals although a hotel ( said they only can serve 3 tables ) breakfast v expensive for croissant and coffee / juice 17 euros - great breakfast down road for 3 euros! No water in room to drink despite 32degrees c - told to drink from tap! Unhelpful staff generally . Pool v tired with rust on steps and mosaics falling off- better places for price next door
