Friendly, comfortable hotel in a great location with mountains on all sides with helpful staff. Our room was large with a nice ensuite bathroom with two sinks and a bath - shower over the top. They left a couple of herbal teas and coffee but no milk - however Coop is very handy round the corner. The breakfast was good quality and plentiful, self service so it can be as quick or relaxed as you make it. Nice areas in the hotel for sitting to read a book. On Sundays 5.00 til 5.30 there is a welcome drink (free I think) in the bar. Would be good if staff highlighted this - we read a notice in the lift but too late to remake plans.
You can't control the temp in the room but we turned the radiator off and it was okay in March. You can leave luggage but it's not in a locked room so don't leave valuables.
