Lovely people. Super location, comfy modern rooms

No BBC1/2 tv channels, no sky sports package on their tvs. Most guests seem to only overnight off the cruise ships and ferries, with constant long queues at the front desk, making it very tiresome to speak to reception staff.

Arrived late in the evening, but check in was very smooth and quick. Comfortable, large room. Quiet environment so a good night's sleep. Excellent breakfast - both food and service very good. Check out was also efficient. Would recommend.

Nothing to complain about at all

Very good location, close to lots of restaurants and shops. Good seated spaces in the foyer for work or chats Wide selection of breakfast items. Good sized room. The fish dishes in the restaurant are very nice!

Ventilator didn't work so room would steam up. Ended up refusing room cleaning because they would reset shower temp back to middle position, and the knob was VERY sensitive so took a while to adjust. Heated mirror prevented steaming up (which is a nice feature), but only in the middle of the mirror. The mirror is positioned with the middle directly above the bath lip, meaning the feature can't be used easily either from the sink or while stood in the bath. Air con rattled periodically the thermostat was difficult to use. Business room didn't have a main room light (only bedside lights/lamps), it was difficult to get good lighting. Minifridge made a constant high pitched noise and needed switching off to sleep soundly. Very firm beds We were not told of a party in the event hall on the Saturday. I could clearly hear the music from my room on Floor 2 until early hours of the morning. Slim restaurant menu and quite pricey for both food and drink.
