Studio on the seafront of 25 m2 for two to three persons;
direct view over the sea (Iles-Saint-marcouf, Pointe du Hoc).
Located between the landing beaches of Utah and Omaha beach easily accessible by the N13, Grandcamp Maisy is a leading French ports of fishing shell St Jacques. In the area you have access to many tourist sites full of history from Caen to Cherbourg via Bayeux and the landing beaches, Pointe du Hoc.

I was in Normandy for the 80th anniversary of the D Day landings. The location was perfect for my needs. Mme Castel was wonderful in getting me the keys and picking me up at the Carentan Train station for a reasonable fee.
The studio was just as described. True to pictures. Clean and comfortable. Would be good for one or two travellers, it might get a bit crowded (from US point of view) for three. But I loved it. Views are breathtaking. Great convenience factor, close to restaurants and bakery, and grocery shopping within a kilometer.

Nous avons passé un bon week-end, avec une vue sublime sur la mer.
Par contre, fort sentiment de louer un bien dont le but est juste d'arrondir les fins de mois:
*Qualité du ménage moyen,
*Salle de bain à refaire,
*La décoration murale est très spéciale,
*La vaisselle n'était pas propre surtout les casseroles.
*Le couchage est à revoir même en ajoutant le bultex!
Mais la situation et la vue font que l'on arrive à passer au-dessus de tout cela (le temps d'un weekend).
De plus, les documents et explications du propriétaire sont très clairs.
