Good breakfast spread, with alternative milks, and a fresh orange juice machine. The room was adequate and the housekeeping team tried very hard to make the place great.
Was a bit old and dated but acceptable for the price.

We were really pleased with the location, the breakfast and with the staff. The room was clean , a little small but it was ok.
There was a little light from the thermostat that was blinking and was annoying at the night.

The room was clean, staff were all pleasant. 15 min walk from Lille Europe station, and in a quiet neighbourhood. The breakfast was ok but some items were slow to be replaced when they ran out. The price was good.
The biggest problem is the ridiculous bed layout. Because the bed is pushed at an angle into the corner of the room, there is a large gap between the head end of the bed and the wall. They have filled this gap with a piece of hard horizontal material, and so you have nothing to lean against if you want to sit up in bed. This means it is impossible to sit comfortably and read a book, for example, anywhere in the room. This arrangement is absolutely stupid and would prevent me from ever going back.
Also, there is no light in the WC. They just rely on light from the room shining through a glass door. But at night, a curtain blocks this light.
The overall room design is very poor.
