The location is ideal for resturants, museums, and the beach. I really liked the nautical theme of the room. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Street parking is free outside the hotel. Ferry port is only a short drive away too.
I'd have liked a few more hot foods to choose from at breakfast.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The bed was very clean. The heating in the room was great. The view of the canal was nice. Free parking
The carpet in the outside hallway and stairs is looking a bit shabby. The breakfast was ok but not much choice really but adequate

Pillows and bed were comfortable. Easy walk into town centre.
Carpets were dirty. Decor and furniture old. Very basic for the price. It is a 2* I guess.
