Merci tres beaucoup to the staff of Hotel Reine Mathilde! I couldn't have asked for a better stay. From the time I checked in to check out in the morning everyone at Hitel Reine Mathilde was so kind and helpful. What an amazing, talented staff. My room was impeccable and the location perfect. I hope to stay again with you soon to visit the beautiful town of Bayeux.

We spent 2 nights and our stay was very enjoyable! Very friendly and helpful staff! They were accommodating in helping us with our limited French. Request a lower level room if stairs are difficult for you. There is no lift, but the front desk staff brought our luggage to our top floor room. This will not prevent us from booking this hotel in the future. We are looking forward to a return visit!

Rooms are OK, non functioning hair dryer in ours, and our kids room had nicer bathroom. Food was decent but steak and cutting utensils were lousy. Dessert was solid, breakfast not worth it. Parking is a bit of pia, but reasonably priced if you find a spot. Worth it because staff is friendly and location is great.
