Family room is a brilliant size for 2 adults and 3 teenage kids, very clean and great value. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Liz was always welcoming at breakfast and the food was delicious with big servings. The Sunday roast at the pub was amazing.

The breakfast was excellent on both days. We were two adults and three kids, all very happy with the breakfast options. Really pleased we were able to get a room with three single beds and an adjoining section with a double.
The room was a bit tired looking and not the cleanest; it was acceptable, just. One of the staff members at breakfast was pleasant and friendly but the other was pretty miserable on both days. Returning a smile or a polite "good morning" wouldn't have hurt.

Location. Use this hotel every time I travel north to family.
Ideal as it has a great pub attached for dinner, good choice on the menu.
Staff always super helpful and friendly.
The rooms, although clean and tidy, beds really comfortable, are looking a little tired, maybe time to refurbish, repaint.

Nice traditional pub with some tasty pub favourites, good location, plenty of parking, close to other eating establishments and shops/supermarkets. Staff friendly. Room separate from main pub which was good, so no pub noise heard. Room was very good size.
Unfortunately needs some TLC. Shower was quite disgusting & disappointing. The room was very spacious but again needs repairing & repainting. Had 2 TV's to cater for both sides of the room, but only 1 remote. No wardrobes of hangers to cater for jackets/clothing.
