Located well for rail travellers and those exploring on foot
Very noisy room overlooking courtyard with live music. Noisy until 3am. Room not adequately checked; bedside lamp not working and TV needed to be re-programmed. Cleaning missed one day. Double bed was actually 2 singles shoved together which meant I couldn’t sleep in the centre because of the lumpy piping to the mattress edges and falling into the gap. It also meant the bedding did not fit.

convenient to station and carlisle centre, friendly staff and okay breakfast
It's very dated and the room was freezing on arrival, no heating on and windows wide open...really cold. The bathroom had some black mould around the taps and well it's very old and in need of renovation!
