Friendly , welcoming , comfy bed, quiet room with en suite bathroom , very good value as outstanding breakfast included in the price and was able to fill up and not need to eat again until the evening , free wifi , TV in room , central location . Decor was a slightly tired and in need of some attention but so am I , as long as it’s friendly, clean, warm enough and comfortable that’s what matters to me.
No parking adjacent to the hotel , had to park in council run car park about 7 minutes walk away ( free between 6pm and 8.00 am but pay otherwise .Stairs a bit of a climb after a tiring day.

The room was okay but sub standard in terms of facilities such as a bath mat for the showèr and the water pressure was too low
