We loved the hotel. Such a lovely family feel. So friendly and helpful. Just there for the night with my son. Definitely going to choose there next time we visit.

Fantastic location, beautiful decor, all staff were polite and so helpful added bonus of large secure car park
Unable to find a fault with the property, although breakfast booked as an extra was rather expensive at £17.50 pppd

We married at the earl 10 yes ago and booked to stay. The room needed a little TLC wobbly chair arms , broken lamp shade in the corner, no milk for cups of tea. Breakfast was very dissapointing as all cold except the beans. 2 options either cooked or continental for the price extra for breakfast you should have more options and warm breakfast.
We wouldve liked it a bit extra special i had contactd the earl direct to ask if we could have maybe champers in the room or a lil decoration and was told champers was an extra 50 pound. I had booked through booking.com as that was cheaper but not by much. When sat for breakfast you can see it needs work doing.
