Lovely place to stay, very helpful staff. Good facilities, would highly recommend.

I have stayed here a couple of times. The hotel is perfectly situated: right in the town centre. Close to all the restaurants, train station and shops. The hotel is beautifully clean and the staff are great. My room was lovely.

We experienced the Kings Arms as hotel guests, restaurant diners, and using their facility to hold functions, and we have no hesitation in awarding them top marks. As hotel guests, our room was well equipped, comfortable, very cosy, and instantly relaxing, agreed by all our wider family who came and stayed as well. While we were there, they had an Indian chef whose dishes were excellent, with spot on taste and presentation. (Staff change, but hope he's still there when you visit.) Thirdly, we held a reception after the funeral of my mother — a cosy area was allocated for us and an innovative and tasty buffet was served, and it was a good experience for all. Staff and manager Di were very helpful at all times, so a big thank you!. (And of course, the location is great - Godalming is a pleasure to browse.)

Travelled with my 6 year old son for a trip back to Godalming (where we used to live). We arrived late on Friday - room was given to us quickly after a long trip which was great. The room itself was lovely and warm, cosy and clean with great tea and coffee and hot chocolate facilities - to the delight of my son! The shower was lovely and the bed was great and suited us so well for both nights. The location is brilliant in the middle of the town and we both really enjoyed our stay - staff were also brilliant. The only slight downside was the food was quite average however the environment is nice and it was reasonably enough priced for the area. We will definitely be back!
