Die zwei Übernachtungen auf diesem schönen, gepflegten Oliven Anwesen hat uns sehr gefallen.
Die Lage ist sehr gut. Über die Landstrasse gleich unter dem Anwesen erreicht man Assisi nach fünf Minuten Autofahrt.
Gleich beim Spital gibt es gratis Parkplätze. Da muss man etwas hochlaufen. Weiter oben gibt es diverse Parkplätze mit Parkgebühren.
Stefania ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin.
Das Frühstück war italienisch, aber gut.
Man kann Bio Olivenöl kaufen, sowie wunderbare Bio Pflege Produkte.
Der Restaurant Tip, von Stefania, der Trattoria da Elide.in Santa Maria degli Angeli war sehr gut. Feines Essen und super Service.

Stefania was an excellent host. Very welcoming, very helpful and pleasant. Always smiling. The house is situated in the country in a tranquil setting with wonderful views and is well located to get to Assisi, Spello and other sites. You would definitely need a car. If you are looking for an authentic Italian experience in a beautiful setting then this is for you!
If you are used to staying in large hotels with international breakfasts and facilities then this is probably not the place for you. The rooms are chalet style in an purpose built outbuilding. They are perfectly clean and functionable with a nice shower and bathroom but they are small. Based on our experiences staying at other places in Italy we did find the Country house Poggio Fiorito quite expensive for the facilities available.
