Best Quality Hotel Dock Milano

We stayed overnight on our way home. Just a few minutes walk from reasonably priced parking near the station. Lovely staff who were very helpful and welcoming. Very comfortable, air conditioned room with a balcony. Excellent breakfast with a huge range of hot and cold food, including fresh fruit, yogurt, meats, cheese, cereals, pastries, eggs, breads, cakes etc. We would definitely stay there again.

The rooms are good size, and had everything we needed for a couple of one-night stays on a rail tour in Italy. The hotel is located very conveniently for the Porta Susa station, and 30 minutes walk from the city centre itself. The breakfast buffet is good. The staff are always very helpful, and we appreciate being able to leave our luggage after checkout as our onward trains were always in the afternoon. Although the hotel has main roads, bus and tram stops, and a major train station nearby it is very quiet at night - the soundproofing works well.

Some might find the rooms a bit dated, but there is nothing wrong with them, and they are all clean and have everything you need.

Excellent location for the station. Staff very helpful with good recommendations of where to eat. Found a great restaurant with local food. Clean and comfy room. Wished we had longer seemed a nice area.

We had a room facing the road which was really noisy- trams, police cars, ambulances. Double glazing is not adequate.Then woken from 6 am by other guests in the corridor who seemed unaware that some people might be on holiday! Our double bed wasn’t- it was 2 singles pushed together. The bathroom looked like it belonged in a hospital although the shower did at least work ok and everything was clean. Breakfast was poor - no proper fruit juice, just squash from a machine, poor quality hot buffet of just frankfurters, fatty bacon and scrambled eggs. Disinterested staff. Would not stay here again.
