Location was good and the room was quite large.

the hotel itself was good overall, it had a good breakfast variety but we did not take it. We were there for 3 days, and the hotel was very comfortable. The locaction is great - 1 minute walk from the train station and close to everything! Well worth it!

We upgraded to a Golden Tulip executive room and were very pleased with the comfort and size.
The staff was very disinterested in their guests. They were clearly not trained in hospitality and were quite surly. After travelling through Europe for 3 months, this was our last accommodation and by far the worst customer service experienced. This was in both the reception and the restaurant. It was a shame as the hotel itself was fabulous but let down by the staff.

Great location and breakfast. Kind reception staff.
The beds were a major disappointment. From day one, the sheets were poorly fitted and constantly bunched up for all of us. Housekeeping didn't help matters - on subsequent days, they only pulled the covers taut while leaving the sheets completely crumpled underneath.
We ended up having to remake our beds every single day, struggling with sheets that were clearly too small for the mattresses. For the price we paid, this is simply unacceptable.
