Log burner was brilliant felt homely.

Lovely location, and good value.
Nice comfortable beds.
Well-appointed kitchen.
Nice room downstairs with table to do a bit of work on and chairs to relax in.
The shower system was a bit basic - but it's a highland cottage, not the Ritz.

Good location, everything in the Bothy worked. Nice conservatory. Nice coffee maker. Bed was comfortable.
My wife hates spiders and there were plenty cobwebs all over , feather duster not used recently. Ample Wood was supplied but was too long for the central wood burner and no saw /axe available. But we did discover how to over ride the boiler to keep the place cosy.

School Hall is in a great tranquile location with stunning views and, having the parking space, is a bonus.
School Hall would benefit from better housekeeping and a furniture refresh.
We appreciate it’s an old property, but that doesn’t mean it cannot be maintained to better standards .
Making hosts feel greeted by providing a welcome pack with some basic essentials would also be helpful.
