About this house rental
Wolds Cottage is 2 Bedroom cottage built in the mid 1800's, tastefully modernised to a very high standard. Kitchen, Dining Room, Utility/Drying room, Lounge and 2 double bedrooms with en suite shower rooms.
The 5th person would be sleeping on a comfortable flop out bed which can be placed in any room.
Private back garden with sunny patio area and BBQ. Ideal for walking and cycling holidays, drying room and safe cycle storage are available.
Situated centrally, a quiet location in the beautiful thriving market town of Pocklington. Two minutes walk to supermarket, restaurants, bars, local shops and the arts centre. Burnby Hall & Gardens is just a 10 minute walk.
Easy access to Wolds walks and cycle ways. A busy bus route to York, Beverley,
Hull and the East Coast is 5 minutes walk away.

Excellent location and easy access to surrounding areas by car to Hornsea, Hull and York. An excellent bus route was also observed.Amenities are in a walks reach and Burnby Hall gardens is worth a visit to see the fish with Sainsburys opposite and Market Street cafe does an excellent breakfast.The cottage enabled all of us to have space to eat, drink and sleep with ease.Unfortunately, emails were not answered and caused some issues with the sleeping arrangements (no futon in front bedroom so sleep was disturbed) and anxiety about how we gained access to the cottage.The front room wardrobe could not be used as it was full of bedding and other paraphernalia. On first inspection the cottage was beautifully presented and clean but requires a little TLC. (showers screens, bases, filters and heads needed a thorough cleaning. Socket at the side of the bed was loose, previous guests clothing in the wardrobe and a bed finial was not attached .)

We had a lovely stay in this cottage which had a great location walking distance to the shops in Pocklington. Only 25 minutes from York and an hour to the coast. It had everything we needed.
