About this farm stay rental
Agriturismo La Foresta is a restored farmhouse located on a hill, in the heart of the Chianti Classico region, in Tuscany, between Siena and Florence and surrounded by greenery among vineyards and olive groves. The farmhouse, which has a total of 4 apartments for 2.3, 4 and 5-6 people, has a 6x14 m panoramic swimming pool. Each entrance is completely independent and with its own private space, equipped with table and chairs. Foresta 2 (for 5-6 people) consists of three bedrooms, two of which are double and one twin, a large living room with fireplace and dining table, kitchen and 2 bathrooms with shower and washing machine; dishwasher in the kitchen. There are also outdoor spaces furnished with tables, barbecue, chairs and umbrellas. The furniture is very nice and typical of the Chianti farmhouses.
The farmhouse is close to famous tourist resorts such as Radda in Chianti, Gaiole in Chianti, Greve in Chianti, Panzano, San Gimignano, Siena, Castellina in Chianti Volterra and Florence.
The territory of Castellina in Chianti, where the farmhouse is located, extends into the heart of the Chianti Classico, the production area of one of the most famous red wines in the world, in a landscape characterized by vineyards and olive groves. You can visit castles, farms, cellars where you can taste and buy the wines of the best harvests and extra virgin olive oil, from hand-picked olives and squeezed in the ancient stone mills. In the area we can find high-level restaurants, recommended by the most important gastronomic guides or ancient taverns where you can find the flavors of ancient recipes such as bruschetta, panzanella, bread soup, cold cuts and cheeses. Own production of extra virgin olive oil.

The owner was very nice and came to collect us. We enjoyed staying in the house in the absolutely beautiful area of Chianti. Visiting the beautiful cities of Firenze, Siena, San Gimignano and having a swim in the great pool when we came back. The only sorry thing were the mosquitos, so be sure to bring your DEET…

This rustic accommodation is a little off the beaten path (a couple km off the pavement) but the charm is great for those wishing some peace and quiet in the Tuscan countryside in the heart of Chianti. Our host Lucia was awesome and went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed. The pool was amazing and closeness to fine dining and a wide selections of vineyards close by with amazing wine was fantastic. Only downside is the beds were a bit dated but that is also the charm in staying in a rustic accommodation. The forno oven was used multiple times and the olive oil was from the very grove we were surrounded by.If you are looking for the Hilton, this is not it. If you are looking for Tuscan charm and to meet and interact with locals, I highly recommend. And just to reiterate, Luci is such a kind hearted person and was a highlight of our time in the Chianti region.

We spent a fabulous week at La Foresta. The property is rustic and very well tended, and the pool is incredible. Lucia takes great pride in the property and it shows. Chianti is beautiful, with wineries, restaurants, and hilltop towns all within easy reach. We plan to return again.
