About this house rental
**WE RENT BY THE WEEK OR MONTH AT A VERY REDUCED RATE. PRICE NEGOTIABLE**
We Ask before you book the Pacific Retreat that you tell everyone in your group that needs “new” or “fancy”or “exquisite” to make sure that you either show them this information or you tell them what is stated here.
We will NOT sugarcoat anything about this home but we will tell you the exact facts and ask to you to make sure any “picky” members of your group are fully aware of the following:
The home is 34 - 35 years old and still has the basic decor of the late 1990s - early 2000s. Please look at the up to date photos. It has never had major renovations, the appliances are older, the flooring is older with some carpeting and some vinyl, the kitchen and bathrooms have never been renovated, and the garage has never had anything done to it and has some stored items in it with a ping pong table. Most people are happy with the home, however, my emphasis is to MAKE SURE EVERYBODY KNOWS ABOUT THE HOME BEFORE BOOKING!!!
On the other hand the living room furniture is fairly new, the flat screen TV is 66’; The view of the ocean has a million dollar view; The trail to the ocean is fairly close and east to get there except for water during rainy season; The huge decks, on 2nd and 3rd levels, are superb for viewing etc; Pets and children are welcome; You may come in early and leave later than normal arrangements are made without extra charge; Customer service is 2nd to none and also features the following;

The house was great! It met our familys needs wonderfully! We brought our dog and it was well suited for him too! The view is exceptional and the host was ansolutely wonderful! We would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful location and convenient. House is big enough that everyone had their own bed. House is indeed very old and outdated which isn’t a big deal, however it was not clean. Host was accommodating and helpful.

We had a great stay at the beach! Larry is very clear up front about the condition of the home and if you go with that understanding you’ll have a great stay. It is an older home and has some quirks but it worked great for our large group. Plenty of parking space, short walk to the beach (typical walk through the scrub brush at WA coastal beaches) and bonus: during the summer months there aren’t supposed to be vehicles on the part of the beach where the house is! Perfect for all the little cousins that were digging houses of sand and chasing the tide. Larry is super accommodating (within his power and reason) and was very responsive with our few questions.

We did not have high expectations for the house as the owner was clear in communication that it is an old house with no real updates being done. That is accurate but there is a difference between out of date and unclean and unkept. The location was amazing and the view is fantastic from the top deck. Overall we made it work and had a great time with family. A little time and effort into cleaning ,replacing old and repairing a few things around the house would go along way to making it a great rental. If your going in the summer bring bug spray , the mosquitoes are feisty and plentiful.
