You've found it in Holly's Haus, a delightful two-bedroom, two-bath completely private cottage in one of Fredericksburg's most venerable old neighborhoods. This adorable gingerbread cottage is just a few blocks from Main Street but far enough from the crowds of Main Street to take you back to a more peaceful time. You will first be greeted by a charming wrap-around porch which is the perfect place for passing the time on the porch swing and returning to a simpler time. The owners even leave two bicycles in the back yard, should you get the urge to take a ride around the quaint neighborhood. Perhaps you will also take advantage of the outdoor patio seating, an ideal setting for a light meal and some relaxing conversation. And of course you'll want to soak away your cares in the luxury of Holly's new private hot tub!
As you step inside you notice that the home offers not one but two comfortable living areas, as well as a full galley kitchen, complete with range, dishwasher, microwave and side-by-side refrigerator. The kitchen is just perfect for making a special meal to serve in the elegant red toile dining room. Or perhaps you'll just want to pop some popcorn and put up your feet to catch a movie or read a good book in the cozy den.
Holly's Haus is one of the few vacation rentals to offer two bedrooms, each with its own private bath. One bedroom is outfitted in cheery butter yellow and boasts an elegant king size bed with tufted headboard, a romantic vanity and, of course a TV in case you decide to catch a movie or the big game. The second bedroom includes another king size bed with beautiful bedding and soothing mint green walls. Each bedroom has its own private bath, one with a tub/shower and one with a shower only. Holly's Haus is the perfect place for a romantic, peaceful getaway just for the two of you. Or take advantage of the second bedroom and bath which make this an ideal retreat for two couples, a girls getaway or, well...you name it! You just can't go wrong making Holly's Haus your little piece of Hill Country heaven!

- If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time:
1st Offense will result in a $250 fine.
2nd Offense will result in a $500 fine.
If police are called, you are responsible for any fines or fees issued with the citation or warning. If police are called there will be a $500 fine, even if no citation is issued.

The host was responsive to needs quickly. The home was full of charm and antiques. The security light on the back porch works very well. There were NO tasks to be completed upon checkout!

Sent the following to the owner’s of the property.A couple of issues: I have attached a picture of mice droppings. Just showed up this morning. You might have someone come and look at it. In secondary bath. (Owner’s response to me was the droppings were old. Crazy how they showed up on the morning of the fourth day on the white bathroom tile. Not old droppings . I don’t have a vision problem.)In the kitchen, to the left of the kitchen sink - outlets have no electricity. We moved the coffee maker to the opposite side of the kitchen. Needed the microwave one morning to warm up danish, but it didn't work either. Tried GCFI and didn't reset outlets. (Breaker needed to be flipped.)One of the bath towels had a huge whole in the middle of it. Several glasses had to be washed due to dust before use. No light in the dining room which makes it unusable space after dark. (Told after our stay that it was being replaced.) Two lamps in front living area doesn't give off enough light for use after dark. All four coffee creamers in fridge were expired - just throw out beforehand. Back door locks, but is really not secure. One swift kick and the door would give way. Smart TV would be great.We did enjoy all your beautiful antiques. Watching the deer resting in the backyard. Plenty of space to spread out. Love king size beds. A/C works beautifully. Well stocked kitchen. Great location. Very quiet.Many options in Fredericksburg. Would not stay again.
