Welcome to Mountain Stay Chalet!
Mountain Stay Chalet is a newly renovated 3BR/2BA home located about 50 feet from the first hole on Beech Mountain Golf Course. This home extends convenient proximity to the slopes and a warm sauna after a full day of skiing! It is close to everything Beech Mountain offers, and it has year-round views of the Appalachian Mountains.
Mountain Stay Chalet has a new beautiful layout, a gorgeous view of the Appalachian Mountains, offers an easy walk to golf and a quick drive to the slopes. It is also located just a short distance to the heart of the town of Beech Mountain. Enjoy shopping at Fred's General Mercantile, where you can rent skis and equipment, buy groceries, and enjoy the unique atmosphere. Very close by are the sledding hill and ice skating facility. Enjoy all the amenities offered by Beech Mountain Club as well.

Guests with a reservation at are eligible to apply for a membership transfer to the Beech Mountain Club (BMC) for the dates of the reservation.
BMC policies apply to a membership transfer. Please read the policy document carefully.
Upon booking, guests will receive an email with instructions, the BMC transfer policies, and the transfer application. The application must be submitted to the club by the guest at least 3 days prior to the transfer start date, which can be no sooner than your arrival date.
Please note BMC Policy 4a. : owners membership is limited to two transfers per month based on a first come first serve basis. It is recommended to submit your application as soon as possible. CCR is unable to inform inquiring guests if two transfers are already accepted in a calendar month. Guests will need to contact BMC for information.
A membership transfer fee starting at $300 is charged to the guest by BMC upon the start date of the membership transfer.
Memberships start at the social level. Guests may upgrade membership with additional fees paid to BMC (see the BMC website for what is included with each level).
Transfers are administered by BMC, which has no affiliation with Carolina Cabin Rentals.

Cabin was clean. Easy to find. Exactly like the description online. Beds were very comfortable layout was nice. Everything worked well stocked kitchen.
Main living area really only has four comfortable seating surfaces so keep that in mind if you have a slightly larger party. Kitchen small but very sufficient.

Perfect house for our long family weekend in the mountains! The house had everything we needed and the views were truly spectacular! All the falls colors were in full force!! The kids bedroom was perfect!

The property is located on a beautiful part of the mountain. While we had a great time, the cabin needs a little tlc. When we got there, a pair of dirty socks were left I’m assuming from the previous renter. Kind of gross. There was a lot of dust and the pots and pans were filthy so we did not end up even being able to use them. The cabin does have some nice charm and a beautiful view, but it needs a deep cleaning where everything is taken out and cleaned thoroughly. Overall, our stay was peaceful and the fireplace was a gem!
