About this house rental
This home is one of the premier units in the resort. Completely rebuilt in 2008 it offers additional sound insulation, topnotch finishes, Wifi, smart tv, and iphone and accessory charger. It is close to the year-round outdoor heated swimming pool, hot tub, and soaking tub but shielded from the noise! It is a short walk from Government Camp village shops and restaurants. Located near Ski Bowl there are shuttle services for winter and summer activities as well as to historic Timberline Lodge.
The Primary has a King size bed and view of the forest along with a flat-screen TV. The Guest has a Queen size bed and a flat-screen TV with DVR. The third bedroom has triple full-size bunks.
The very well-appointed kitchen is loaded for your use. The dining table seats 12, with 3 leather barstools providing additional seating. Guaranteed you won't run out of spoons or bowls or wine glasses.
The Living room looks out at the forest with a plush leather couch, flat screen TV, DVR, and gas fireplace. There is a covered deck with a gas grill and corner couch for enjoying the view. The heated garage has plenty of hooks for hanging your gear, couch and camping chairs to watch any competition on the ping-pong table . The unit is equipped with Wifi
The resort clubhouse right next door also has free WiFi and an oversized fireplace.
We have information including local brochures and menu guides in a binder as well as a well loved copy of the classic guide 100 Hikes in Northwest Oregon.
There is a Ring camera at the front entrance for security purposes only.

Hiked, biked, explored historical points of interest, shopped and ate our way around the Mount Hood and Hood River areas. This was the perfect base from which to launch our daily adventures and return home to a comfy and super clean spot, pool and hot tub were great, as was the easy walk to restaurants and ice cream and more. Can’t wait to return next year!

The kitchen is well stocked. We cooked our breakfast and dinner without buying any seasonings. The space is so big for our party (3 adults 2 teens). Everyone had a good rest after skiing at Mt. Hood.

WOW. Gorgeous townhouse right in the heart of Government Camp, Oregon! The checkin process was seamless, the home was spotless and stocked with all the comforts of home. There’s plenty of room for families to spread out, our kids LOVED their bunk room, and the ping pong table was perfect for evening tourneys. there were dozens of board games as well, perfect for entertaining the kids when we weren’t on the slopes. If that wasn't enough, the community pool and hot tubs were another highlight and even open for use during the snowstorm! As far as the location, if you’re doing anything on Mt Hood, whether in Govy, Timberline, Meadows or anywhere between, this cabin is perfectly located. We can’t wait to return!! Great location, gorgeous and clean unit, fantastic hosts—what more could you need?

We stayed a week at the condo. Two adults and a 10 month old. We had no issues parking our Suburban in the garage. The location is ideal. It is a three story unit with garage on lower, kitchen/living on second, and bedrooms on 3rd level. The condo was poorly cleaned during our stay and we received a refund of one night due to that. The kitchen/living area could use some basic curtains and the mattress pads and comforters look as if they haven’t been washed in some time. The unit was challenging with a ten month old as there are three flights of stairs and a fireplace without any baby proofing options. The ac/heating unit is programmed at owners set temperature and resets at certain times. The condo is stocked with basic necessities and kitchen staples which was convenient. The walls to the adjacent condo are thin and it sounded like bowling balls dropping down the stairs every time the neighbors moved about their unit. Unfortunately that can’t be controlled but is a possibility if you have inconsiderate neighbors. The check out instructions require you to take out all the trash which is located at the top of the resort and do a load of towels and dry them.
