A vingt minutes du centre de Rouen, en lisière de forêt, un charmant lotissement se termine par une propriété médiévale. Le calme règne en maître. Nous n’avons croisé personne en voiture et les hôtes étaient disponibles au téléphone. Nous avons bien dormi sous la pente d’un gîte, dans un appartement confortable et chauffé d’avance. Le lendemain matin, nous avons fait le tour du propriétaire et pris connaissance de son riche passé avec les panneaux explicatifs. Nous sommes repartis sans croiser quiconque : le vrai calme.
Pour accéder au gîte, l’escalier médiéval en pierre est assez abrupt, notamment avec les valises, donc praticable pour des personnes en pleine forme. Dans les petits détails, la machine à café semble capricieuse, nous n’avons donc pas utilisé les autres capsules mises à disposition.
