The Corte Maria Cristina is composed of independent units inserted in the center of the ancient village of Quercia (MS) in the heart of Lunigiana. Completely renovated, they maintain the charm of the old houses unchanged combined with the practicality of modern furnishings. The village of Quercia is 5 km away. from the Aulla exit of the Parma-La Spezia A15 motorway, 3 km from the Aulla railway station, 50 km. from the beaches of Versilia and Viareggio, 35 km away. from the Cinque Terre and Portovenere, 80 km. from Pisa, its monuments and the airport, 150 km. from Florence and its Renaissance beauty. A few meters from the entrance of the structure, a wonderful viewpoint allows a total view of the Apuan Alps, with the marble quarries famous all over the world, but also rich in nature, trekking and mountaineering routes; from the windows of the house you can see the mountains of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, full of green paths, natural parks and ski resorts. Next to the church of San Pietro, very close to the entrance of the house, there is the bell tower from which the largest sock of the Befana in the world, registered in the World Guinness Record, is lowered every year on 6 January. At 3 km from the Court there is the Municipal Sports Center with swimming pool, tennis courts, athletics track.
