About this house rental
Sand Dollar Shores is an almost Beachfront 4 bedroom, 2 bath, 1500 square foot 1960's beach house with a marvelous wrap around deck, and a 2nd floor deck off the primary bedroom. This home reminds you of the original beach house you used to stay in, lots of glass, open beamed tongue & groove ceiling, and a charming beach feel.
It has been updated over the years, with new vinyl windows throughout. The kitchen and dining area have ceramic tile floors & modern appliances but with the wonderful red countertops it hasn't lost it's sixties charm. The Dining Room has a large picnic table with padded seats that seats 8 and has a fantastic view. Also a great place to play games or do a jigsaw puzzle on those stormy days.
Relax in front of the Pellet Stove in the spacious living room or enjoy the afternoon sun out on the large wrap around deck with great views. On a warm day, throw open the sliding glass door and turn on the ceiling fan. It has built in window seats, 2 recliners, 2 swivel rockers and a large sofa, so everyone can gather around the 50 inch TV to watch a movie on Netflix or to stare out at the view.
On the First Floor you'll find a small bedroom with Twin trundle bed, a larger bedroom with a Queen Bed, and a Bathroom with shower-tub combo. On the second floor another bathroom, with a large shower stall. The master bedroom with queen bed has stunning views and it's own deck. It has a 40 Inch TV The other bedroom has full size bed, and a nice desk if you need to catch up on some work. The loft bed has a queen bed.
There is parking for four vehicles or a truck and trailer for all of your toys.

This house is ideally located in a beautiful, beautiful place. It is well priced, well managed, and generously stocked with everything a family might need. The home is in need of some TLC, many window screens were missing or coming off, some doors were sticky, and the home had a musty odor. We did not mind this, I write it so that future visitors can set their expectations. It is a wonderful beach house for a family gathering.

The location was fantastic—just a short walk to the beach, which made morning and evening strolls so enjoyable. We especially appreciated the peaceful neighborhood and the quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The home was exactly as described in the listing, and check-in was smooth and hassle-free.

We were in Florence clearing out the house of a loved one who had recently passed away. It was difficult and emotional task. Coming to the beach house every evening was relaxing and restorative, and it provided a must needed respite. The house was clean, welcoming, relaxing, and homey! We will be back!!!!
