About this house rental
This beautifully updated home has been completely remodeled from top to bottom. The two bedrooms each have a King bed. There are 2 full baths. The family room is actually a 3rd bedroom with 2 Twin beds and a fold-out sofa bed. The living area features a beautiful rock fireplace, fully equipped kitchen that accesses a large private deck for relaxing and BBQ. The house is fully equipped for your vacationing needs. There is a smart TV upstairs and the downstairs tv now has a DVD player that can also access streaming services like Netflix, Amazon, etc. all you need is your own credentials. A new mini sound system is pairable with anyone’s devices for music. There is wifi at the home and access to the Homeowner Association pier (key to access pier is at house, $200 if lost). House is located close to the bike trail system and Kaspian recreational area. Not far from Sunnyside Resort, Homewood ski area, West Shore Cafe, Firesign Cafe and local West Shore markets. *Must have 4-Wheel drive and snow tires to access this house in the winter.

There is a washer and dryer in every rental. Every unit has Wi-Fi. There is NO A/C, this is not commonly found in Tahoe, there are fans. Deck and BBQ may not be available during winter months.

Everything was perfect. Nice quiet location, close to the lake and only 10 minutes from Tahoe City. The house was spotless and very comfortable, with lots of towels, pillows, blankets etc. Loved the king sized bed. Would be perfect for one or two families, or three generations. And so reasonably priced. We enjoyed it very much!

The cabin itself was perfect & home-y. However, in order to receive check in code, I needed to sign a document which was supposed to be emaied to me. I had a busy work week and missed that I was supposed to do this. In addition, the doc was never emailed to me in the first place. I did not realize this until 5pm on Friday as I was trying to check in. The cabin check in time is 4pm and the rental office closes at 4:30. There is a 30 minute window where you could get help if needed. I called the back-up number provided twice and they could not help, only forward my request to check in to another agency who was supposed to email me back. My brother luckily guessed the lock code on the pin pad. If he had not done that, we would not have had a place to stay. It is now 2 weeks after my stay and I still have not received the follow up email which was supposed to be sent from the phone calls I made the day of check in. I could have averted the situation by filling out the docs in advance but around the holidays with work, it slipped my mind. I do think the management company running for a vacation rental business should have after hours and weekend support considering that is when most guests need it. The cabin itself was a great stay - clean, cute, & cozy. I would recommend the cabin but not the management company.
