About this villa rental
Villa Lykaios was originally an old olive press that has been restored by the finest of craftsmen using local materials, it's nestled in the hills above the sleepy hamlet of Nissaki providing quality accommodation and stunning sea views. The design and the overall fixtures and fittings will not disappoint and although air conditioned the stone walls create a cool haven to escape the heat of the summer sun. Distributed over a single storey there are 4 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a separate guest bathroom plus a gallery bedroom for 3, maximum occupancy for 11 people. The farmhouse kitchen has been fitted with every electrical appliance/gadget imaginable including a a large American style fridge/freezer, Aga type cooker, microwave, stone pizza oven, dishwasher etc and dining table that seats 10. The lounge has a huge vaulted ceiling with 365 degree gallery, fireplace, Grand Piano, 50" TV with Sky satellite system, DVD (Greek/European) and locally hand crafted wrought iron furniture plus a stone staircase that leads up to the gallery area. The whole property is private, secure and walled and accessed via electric gates to private gardens with flowering shrubs, fruit trees and homegrown vegetables. The private swimming pool includes a separate Jacuzzi section and is surrounded by patio areas with sun loungers and parasols, there is also a covered barbecue with kitchen area and stone table for meals outdoors which is perfectly placed for enjoying the spectacular sea views. Absolutely no expense has been spared creating a haven at Villa Lykaios and it's a perfect choice for those looking for a fantastic property in a peaceful location.

A high quality villa with stunning views of Corfu and ideally placed to explore lots of great beaches, coves and restaurants. The local company who looked after us were very helpful.
The villa is of a high standard and we would recommend it. I think the details should make it clear that you do really need a car if you are staying is this villa and to be a confident driver. It is up a very steep, windy, narrow road which goes on for approx 1.7 km.
All the facilities are great and it is perfect for friends or families staying together. Two areas that could be improved are the showers and the sun beds (for the price paid).
We had some great days by the pool, exploring all the local restaurants and beaches although parking at the beaches was always interesting!

Four double/twin bedrooms, all with ensuite and all excellent size. Two have direct access to pool. Three more beds upstairs in a spacious mezzanine floor. The house is very well equipped, with great charcoal bbq outside, and pizza oven, coffee machine and orange squeezer. We found everything we needed exept a colander, but the chip fryer stepped in.
Th edrive up and down to the beach is interesting if you first arrive after dark, but you soon get used to it - and then there are the views!
Catherine's supermarket will prvide meat for the barbecue if ordered in advance - and try the greek cheese pie for lunch.
We had an excellent stay, and the local support was very helpful over the odd query.

Wonderful stay in a very clean villa with everything you need and much more. Amazing views from the villa and fantastic pool and jacuzzi. Overall fantastic place for a family holiday with plenty space for everyone. 10 out of 10 👍
