Stunning view and extremely pleasant and helpful host.
Road to the place is tricky and challenging. A lot of trash was found next to private access to beach, which made impossible reaching the water, we had to look for alternatives nearby. Uncomfortable shower.

Very close to beautiful lake Shkoder. Close to good restaurant Pelican. We had kayak and sup and both were easy to carry to beach w/o need to repump.

Really nice little apartment with balcony overlooking the lake, good comfy bed and a sofa. Good, modern furnishings and kitchen. The hosts live in Shkoder, but are in constant contact by Whatsapp, and tried to resolve any problems quickly, with a local lady who does the cleaning each day. The area around is very tranquil, with a small beach and access to the lake below. The roads in Zogaj have street lights at night, even the unpaved part leading to the apartment. It is about 6 km to Shiroka and 10 km to Shkoder, but there are two good resturants and a couple of small shops in Zogaj itself. (There is only 1 double bed and the sofa is not in a sepparate lounge area in the one-bedroom apartment, so the desciption is wrong there. It also does have wifi, however)
Of course the road along the lake is narrow and not in the best condition, that is to be expected in rural Albania, but the last 400 m to the apartment is completely unpaved and quite rocky - not good if you are worried about driving on such a surface. We had no problems in the end (no 4 x 4), but were worried about the clearance between the rocks and our car.
We also had no water at all in the mornings, a problem with the local supply I think, not just these apartments. The hosts did their best to get it working by mid morning, and were helpful - I do not know if this is a temporary problem or not.

Exceptional stay with the lake view. The view from the apartment is amazing and you can enjoy the sunrise waking you up!
Contact with Naidra, the host was also great - we have enjoyed our stay and we can definitely recommend for everyone!
