About this chalet rental
This small chalet built in 2017 has a large, bright south facing, quiet on the edge of a small wood where we see the squirrels climb trees, it is at the same time very close to the center of Val d'Isere. The real mountain near the village. You put on your skis 200 meters from the chalet to reach the roundabout in a few minutes, even children, accompanied, can join their ski school. My 5 year old son does it, and he loves it!
Our family keeps growing, we built this small chalet, adjoining our large chalet (ad 6292005) but completely independent. We can now accommodate up to 20 people: 20 in the large and 6 in the small.
The small cottage is very comfortable we inaugurated at Christmas 2017, it has seduced everyone. Upstairs you will find 2 beautiful rooms with exposed beams overlooking the Val d'Isère. One with a large double bed and its private bathroom with bath and shower, the other with 4 bunk beds two out of two and its private bathroom with walk-in shower.
On the landing of the toilet and a small laundry room. On the ground floor a large entrance with a shoe warmer closet and toilet, in the large living room a fully equipped American kitchen oven, microwave, nespresso etc. ..a nice dining-room table for 8 people, a large TV, and especially a beautiful fireplace and a comfortable sitting area. Outside on the stoop, a ski room where you will also find wood for the fireplace. If you come by car, you can park on the estate, you also have a covered car park nearby (against payment) against the Aqua Sport Center. If you do not ski, like me, you have before you the sunniest pedestrian promenade of the station. While walking in this valley of Manchet, you will see on one side the skiers descend from Bellevarde by the track of Santons or Tour du Charvet, on the other hand the skiers come down from Solaise, in the sky the paragliders. You can also take a ride with the sled dogs. In bad weather, children can go to play, swim or frolic in the large swimming pool of the Aqua Sport center, or for the sports enthusiasts the other swimming pool for laps or fitness rooms very well equipped. Relaxation also counts, Hammam and saunas ..In the evening to party "La Doudoune", is a few minutes walk, the restaurant l'Etincelle too. You will go on our part, Sebastien and Carole Frizon will offer you a glass of champagne. Le Chatelard is an exceptional place in Val d'Isère, the calm and the magnificent views of the mountain and still close to the village, a quarter of an hour walk, I go pushing the stroller of the little ones, you have also a free shuttle.
For shopping you can have it delivered. To rent your equipment we recommend "Sport shop" on the snow front, if you come from us Jean Marc may grant you a small discount.

Great apartment, exactly as shown in photos. Easy access to centre by free shuttle. Great location, with nice walking area very close by for those who don’t ski. Fantastic skiing domaine with lifts further than the eye can see. My 1st time to Val d’Isere but definitely won’t be the last!

The chalet felt like home away from home. The chalet was warm and cozy. the kitchen was well stocked and had everything needed to prepare family meals. The boot warmer and towel warmers were a nice touch!. It was super easy to get on and off the slopes and into town. Check-in and checkout were a breeze. We would give 10 stars if we could!!
