For your getaways in the heart of the French countryside, just 1.5 hours from Paris, we invite you to discover a charming 4-bedroom cottage for a cozy and peaceful stay with family or friends.
The house is located 8 km from Sancerre, in a bucolic, authentic, and vibrant setting. Here, you can find tranquility and relaxation surrounded by greenery and savor the finest wines of Sancerre, Pouilly, Chablis, and more.
It is located in Cosne-sur-Loire (58200), in the Nièvre department of France, on the border between the Cher and Burgundy regions. Just 1.5 hours from Paris, it is easily accessible via the A6 and then the A77 motorways and 30 km from the renowned Château de Guédelon (an experimental construction site using medieval techniques).
The house is situated in a pretty little rural hamlet. It is not isolated; there are a few houses and barns nearby. The location is serene and peaceful. This is a former barn dating back to 1809, exuding rustic charm that blends authenticity and simplicity.
A vast, wooded garden and peaceful greenery offer a tranquil space to relax in the shade of the large trees.
The spacious farmhouse kitchen, with its original terracotta tiles, fireplace, and exposed beams, is perfect for convivial meals (large gas stove).
In summer, you can enjoy lunch in the large garden surrounded by nature with a barbecue, or cozy up by the fire in winter.

3 bedrooms + 1 independent studio with shower room and wc on the ground floor and directly accessible from the living room of the Longere.
- Room N ° 1 (Very large room): 1 double bed (2 persons) + 2 single beds + 2 comfortable extra beds on request + Shower room.
- Bedroom N ° 2: 1 double bed.
- Bedroom N ° 3 (large bedroom): 1 double bed (2 persons) + 1 comfortable extra bed on request.

We have just returned from a wonderful week. The house had everything you could need for a great holiday at any season and went beyond our expectations. It was quiet, clean, well maintained. really well supplied with everything you might need. The living room in particular is fabulous with high ceilings, large windows and a fire place. There is also a great garden where we can sit and have breakfast or lunch when the weather allows it. The big kitchen is a great incentive for cooking ! We cooked homemade fries and the "côte de boeuf". The owner, who is a charming lady, called to make sure we had everything we needed. It was a fabulous week with our friends as the house is within easy driving distance of many touristic places ! There is lots of great villages and restaurants.
We really hope to return again as it would be hard to beat the location. We strongly recommend this house. Thank you to Eve.
