The accommodation was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It is very central and convenient for shops and restaurants, but set back from the main streets. We would definitely stay there again.

We rented this place for one month. We needed a large place as our daughters and their families would also be joining us. We found the place very clean upon our arrival. We needed a crib for one of our grandchildren and the owner had arranged for a crib to be installed prior to our arrival. There was one double bed; all of the others were single beds but were comfortable.
The location of the chalet in Chamonix Sud is excellent as it permits you to walk to pretty much any part of town. You really only need a car if you are going to other parts of the valley. The property does have outdoor parking which is very convenient. Also, our kids were able to take advantage of the yard. The chalet is far enough removed from the main streets so it was relatively quiet plus the sound of the river that passes by within 30 yards of the house also aided in sleeping.
The rental is for the floor of the top balcony that you see in the picture. It has a loft above that has a full bathroom and four beds and foldout couch. However, the loft is just below the roof which slants down. As a result, several of the beds are only a foot or two below the roof. My wife and I bumped our heads on the ceiling and beams several times the first few days before we learned to watch out above. If you use the loft during the summer, use the overhead windows to help with the heat and ventilation.
The bedrooms are small. Two of them have closets with hanging space. The others have some storage space

My group had a wonderful stay at your chalet. It was very conveniently located near to all shops and cafes one could want to visit in Chamonix. The gondola to Brevent and Aguille du Midi were also a short walk away and very manageable in ski boots. There were more than enough beds to accommodate a large group. I would highly recommend this VRBO to others looking to stay in Chamonix.
