About this castle / palace rental
In the Perche natural park, the Couplehaut castle, an authentic 17th, 18th and 19th century residence, is located at the end of a long tree-lined alley in a large English park of three hectares, with trees centuries of different species (redwoods, Scots pines, oaks, ..... on the open part of the park, kite lovers can indulge in their sport. The view from the gîte overlooks a hilly landscape typical of the Percheron countryside. Frequently deer cross the park in elegant leaps. The park is bordered by a border of trees and hedges which give the whole an impression of peaceful intimacy where silence is of a rare quality which allows to appreciate the melodious noises of nature. oriented northeast / southwest allows reception rooms to have several exhibitions to be bathed in light. For young children, swings and outdoor games in the immediate environment are available for their greatest joy and the tranquility of their parents. Sunny or shaded areas in the immediate vicinity allow everyone to find their ideal space.

Dès l’arrivée et l’accueil on pressent un excellent séjour. Les arbres séculaires entourant la demeure forment un écrin apaisant. Face à la terrasse une trouée sur les champs vallonnés environnants attire le regard vers l'horizon. Hormis les chants d’oiseaux pas un bruit, c’est le calme et la sérénité; une sensation d’être hors du temps appréciée à sa juste valeur. Une cuisine spacieuse bien équipée, des chambres toutes originales aux tons modernes, une literie confortable contribuent également à la réussite du séjour. Mortagne, La Perrière et Bellême avec leurs maisons et hôtels particuliers d’un autre temps complètent agréablement le séjour. Pas d’hésitation, c’est LA que vous déconnecterez et quitterez à regret ce havre de paix. Un grand merci aux propriétaires.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au château. Le gîte est bien équipé. Très bon contact avec les propriétaires. Beau parc. Je vous le conseille. Marché de Mortagne chouette.

C'est un lieu magnifique. Imaginez un chateau de famille, ouvert sur un écrin de verdure. Un havre de calme et de bien-être. Des pièces habitées de goût, où l'on aime déambuler dès le premier instant, "comme chez soi". Le (grand) salon vous retient pour deviser, jouer au scrabble, ou tout simplement s'y enfouir avec un livre de la bibliothèque. Des hôtes chaleureux, attentifs, et respectueux de votre séjour. Une nature préservée, tel faon observé dans le parc, telles griottes cueillies par le priopriétaire. Et le Perche qui vous invite à découvrir ses collines boisées, ses abbayes, et aborder sa propre part d'histoire. A recommander : la visite guidée de Mortagne, par un tout jeune octogénaire, passionné par sa région, un puits de connaissance matinée d'humour tranquille. Un séjour à savourer entre amis, et à garder longtemps dans son coeur. Le ciel peut attendre, nous avons trouvé un coin de paradis.
