About this house rental
We welcome you in a pretty house well equipped and comfortable in all seasons: in summer, enjoy the freshness of the old stones, the flowery patio on the ground floor or the terrace-solarium on the 2nd floor. In winter, you will be warm thanks to the large Godin stove with insert, very easy to use, which heats two floors.
And in all seasons, you will appreciate the veranda which extends the kitchen and the living room.
The house has 3 bedrooms and can accommodate 5 people.
It will not be suitable for young children because two stairs can be impractical.
• On the ground floor, you will find a room for two people (double bed) overlooking the patio and which benefits from its bathroom as well as a small extra room (with sink, microwave, coffee maker ) which makes it independent if need be.
• On the 1st are installed the living rooms: kitchen, living room, veranda, as well as a bathroom
• On the 2nd floor, you will find a large bedroom opening onto the terrace-solarium as well as a small extra bedroom for one person.
• Parking in front of the house.
• Duvets, pillows, bedspreads, tea towels are provided.
• Water, gas, electricity, wood for the stove (in cold season), wifi and tourist taxes are also included in the price..
• In Fontareches, you are in a circle formed by Alès, 35 km to the west, Avignon, 45 km to the east, and Nîmes, 40 km to the south. You are also less than 20 km from Bagnols-sur-Cèze and a dozen Uzès. You can swim in the rivers within half an hour.
On foot, from the house, multiple paths will take you through the nearby forests, the garrigue, the fruit trees or the vineyards.
A few minutes away by car, you can explore the Saint-Quentin pottery market, visit the craftsmen's workshops, or the Pont du Gard. It will also be a good home base to attend the Avignon festival or discover the architecture of the big cities Arles, Nîmes, Orange or small villages.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Fontarèches. La maison est confortable et pleine de charme et l'accueil a été parfait. Sans parler de la bibliothèque, qui est un plus quand on est en panne de lecture !

Four of us enjoyed our stay of five nights in this restored cottage in the quiet village of Fontareches. The house has much character and is well equipped , two doubles one single bed rooms and has a small light dining area and a cosy lounge with a wood burner with plentiful log supply for those visiting in cooler months. The main kitchen (there are two here) comes with a dishwasher- a real plus.
Fontareches is about 15 mins from Uzes and an hour from Nimes.
