Barbara went above and beyond being a great hostess. She met us at the train station and explain the ins and out of Riomaggiore. When she heard that I can only drink decaf, a box of decaf pods showed up in a gift box for me the next day. Unusual to have a expresso machine which is a bonus. We love the Med because of its personal touch ( room is decorated with pieces of wine barrel from her grand fathers winery.). My son and I booked two beds, a queen in one room and a couch/bed in another room which gave us our own privacy. There is plenty room to stow lugguge. It is walking distance from the train station, a small market, resturants and the harbor for beautiful sunsets. The walk is not strenuous and the stone steps are manageable for older person in there 70's. We think Riomaggiore is the best out of the five. Barbara's hospitality made our stay even better. Nothing! Everything was perfect!

The room was nice and clean. Nice bathroom with modern facilities. Great balcony with sea view. Close to the village, the sea and the train station. The owner picked us up from the train station, which was very nice. Good and easy communication with the owners throughout our whole stay.

The kitchen includes a water cooker and a coffee machine. A microwave would be nice. The room is a bit small, but you'll spend all the time on the balcony anyways
