Welcome! Our apartment is located in a historic building and enjoys a strategic location within walking distance of bars, restaurants, train station and a few kilometers from the Amalfi Coast. Perfect for those who want to visit the coast, Pompeii and Naples.
It is possible with a little extra to have a private garage or arrange transportation to / from where you wish. Breakfast is included.

The VRBO is large and has three bathrooms. Restaurants, grocery stores and cafe's nearby. Great location to visit Pompeii, Paestum and Amalfi coast. We were there in January so we didn't get to use the beautiful balcony.Property manager gave us her phone number and replied promptly to text and messages on VRBO website.

Great accommodations, One bedroom is close to main square so can get noisy. Love going down for coffee and pastries at the coffee/bar!

The apartment is nicer and bigger than the pictures. The outdoor space is private and perfect for a quiet glass of wine in the evening. The kitchen has a full refrigerator and microwave which I mention because they are not in the pictures. Teresa and her family are wonderful. Whenever we needed something it arrived that day. We were lucky enough to have dinner with them. We will go back and hopefully see them again.
The town of Cava de' Tirreni is a great place to get to know true Italians. It is not a tourist location but is centrally located to Naples, Salerno, Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast. The town is lively, full of friendly, helpful people and good restaurants. Most people speak English and when they don’t they will find someone that does. Go to At Home (a bar) for an evening drink and then walk over to Vincent's for gelato. The plaza is lively from 7 PM to after midnight.
If you can, spend a couple of days in Sorrento. This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve been to and about an hour away. One of the big advantages of Cava de' Tirreni not being a tourist spot is everything is 25% to 35% less than Sorrento or Amalfi. Take the ferry from Salerno to Amalfi, great fun.
Pompeii is about 30 minutes by train and is fascinating. It is large and expect to spend a few hours and do a lot of walking but it is worth it.
Overall the stay was great. We have wanted to go to Italy for many years and built up our expectations. We are happy to say it exceeded our inflated expectations.
