Within the Cretan countryside near the sea, a home away from home awaits for you!
Villa Eleni is ideal for those who want to have quiet and relaxed vacation, near the sea but distanced from noisy hotels and cities as it is located in the small village of Asproulianos.
This villa is a large 125 square meter double-story house that can accommodate 6 guests with ease. On the ground floor is an open plan living and kitchen area, a bathroom and one bedroom. The living room is air conditioned and has a flat screen TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and all necessary cutlery and crockery. On the top floor are two more bedrooms and two bathrooms. Each bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning unit and both have spacious closets. Both top floor bedrooms have private balconies. The exterior grounds have a well-kept garden and a swimming pool with sun loungers (kindly note that the pools is shared with the adjacent villa Athina). Private parking space is also provided for. Other house facilities include a washing machine, steam iron and ironing board. Wireless internet covers all house areas. Baby cots and high chairs can be provided on request.
The sandy beach of Georgioupolis, one of the longest in Crete, is just 1 km away from the villa and is accessible by car or on foot (10 to 15 minutes walk). The beach is fully organized with sun loungers and umbrellas and there are restaurants and cafeterias along the beach road where you can enjoy your meal or a refreshment. Near to Villa Anna, at 1,5 km distance, in the village of Paralia Kourna, one can find all the necessary stores such as a grocery store, pharmacy and gasoline station. At the small and popular coastal town of Georgioupolis, just 3.5 km from the villa, one can find a supermarket, pharmacy, bank, ATM, restaurants, cafes and of course the beach of Georgioupolis. Just 5 km away is the beautiful lake of Kourna where one can enjoy a dinner at one of the many restaurants along the lake front. The city and Venetian old town of Rethymno is 20 km to the east while the city and Venetian harbor of Chania is 40 km to the west. The nearest airport is the Chania Airport (CHQ), 50 km away and Heraklion Airport (HER) is 101 km away from the villa.

We had a great time in Villa Eleni just after Pentecost. The house was clean, spacious, and beds were comfortable. We had everything we needed. The view from the balconies is very nice and the garden well maintained. It is a quiet area but very close to the beaches and Georgiopolis. The kids loved the pool and we enjoyed our stay a lot. AC was available and worked well in all three bedrooms. Dennis is a great host.You could walk to the beach but the kids were too lazy. It is a 5 min drive to the closest beach, where parking was easy to find and for free. The sandy beach was not crowded and the sea was shallow - perfect for kids. Enough space to stay at the beach for free but there were also umbrellas with sunbeds for rent. Supermarket and bakery were close by. There are a few restaurants close by but it is also only about a 10 min drive to Georgiopolis.We will come back. :-)

Delightful villa with all of the amenities that you could ask for. Dennis was very hospitable and helpful. Great food venues around the area. Pool was a highlight! Definitely will be back!

Siamo stati a Villa Eleni dal 10/8 al 24/8, villa stupenda, molto pulita e curata, i proprietari genitilissimi e ospitali.
Il paesino in cui è situata la villa (Georgioupoli) è fornito e comodo a tutto, vicino ci sono bellissime spiagge, noi ci siamo appoggiati a Lido Poseidon dove siamo stati molto bene, gestori molto cordiali.
Georgioupoli è situato a 20 minuti circa da Rethymno, città molto carina, piena di negozi e Taverne stupende, e inoltre è vicina alle lagune più belle di Creta, come Balos, Elafonisi, Preveli.
Nel complesso vacanza meravigliosa, consiglio assolutamente Villa Eleni, in particolare alle famiglie (anche numerose).
Un ringraziamento sentito ai proprietari da parte dei bolognesi!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette jolie maison.
Merci à Dennis pour son accueil et sa générosité, très serviable et au petit soin avec ses locataires.
Le partage de la piscine avec seulement un autre logement est un atout car peu de chance d'être ensemble au même moment.
La maison est très confortable et super bien équipée.
Je recommande vivement ce lieu de vie entre Rethymnon et la Chanee
