About this house rental
Perfect mid-century beach house JUST A 5-MINUTE WALK FROM THE BEACH! Across a quiet street from a beautiful park & duck pond. Sunny, open, bright home! Quiet neighborhood but a short walk to excellent restaurants and a grocery. You'll have the entire house to yourselves -- 4 bedrooms with closets, 2 full baths, full kitchen, living room, extra rec room, washer/dryer, barbeque grill – even Foosball! Fully stocked with kitchen supplies & linens. Plenty of on-site parking. We even provide free snacks! Ideal for families or friends.
When you rent a vacation home you often only deal with a large property management company. They’re typically available only Monday to Friday, 9 to 5. And even if you reach them during office hours it can take days to solve an issue – usually after you’ve checked out. And you often have to check in, fill out paperwork and get keys at their office, which can be miles away.
Our names are Melany & Jon. We're experienced Superhosts and we own and manage this fully-licensed home ourselves. We’ve lived here for 30 years – California’s Central Coast is heaven on Earth to us! Your key will be waiting for you at the house in a lock-box. We live 5 minutes from the property and are available to help 24/7. You’ll have our personal cell number -- call or text ANYTIME! We’ll deal with any issue immediately. We are familiar with all the local shopping, activities, and restaurants (honestly we eat out too much). We’d LOVE to recommend places and activities to make your stay absolutely amazing!!

This is our fourth year that we’ve rented this property location is wonderful. The beach is walking distance. Pismo is just down the street. We went Morro Bay one day I love making memories with my family.

Let me start by saying that the location (across from the City park and near the Dunes) and communication with owners was top notch. They allow dogs (but it’s not a closed yard) and the rooms are nice in size. It has laundry and a working kitchen. For a group of 20 somethings wanting to stay close to the beach at a no frills place, it’s a good fit.The cons? There were beer cans and other trash left in the closets from the last visitors, there was mold on the shower curtains and tubs, and no water pressure in the main bathroom due to a leaky shower head. It was well used but more important, didn’t really “feel” clean. The towels provided were beach towels only, and the comforters and mattress cushions were very worn and ripped in multiple places. The floors and bedding felt dirty even though the owners have signs highlighting the efforts used to clean and sanitize the home. Also (not the owner’s fault), the neighbor’s dog barked most of the first night we stayed there. It wasn’t as bad the second night.
