The hosts & owners were wonderful and pleasant to communicate with. They answered all our questions through phone / texts / whatsapp. Super, super friendly. The location was great - Lenno itself is the perfect location to visit all areas of Lake Como. The bus stop to get to other towns was only a few minutes walk from the apartment, and the Ferry just a bit of a longer walk, but a very nice scenic stroll. The view the mountains from the balcony was beautiful, especially at sunset. The residents in the the building & area were very helpful and friendly. The pool was kept very clean. The price was amazing compared to many others. We wanted to extend another day before we got there (as plans changed), and the owner was very helpful in adding an extra day. We really appreciated that.

We were 3 adults staying in this apartment - which we knew would be small, but it was a lot smaller than expected. It is definitely not comfortable for a week long stay for 3 adults. The sofa bed was covered with a blanket - which when taken off, to use as a bed - the leather peeled everywhere, and was constantly sticking to the person sleeping there. The shower was blocked on our arrival - there was white gunk in the drain. We knew the apartment was not air conditioned - but we were assured there was a fan, and if we needed another, to let them know. So we did. It was 32-37 degrees during our week long stay and it was unbearable. The fan provided in the apartment let off absolutely no air. We were then told to go to the basement to use the spare fan, which also did not work. We were not offered anything after that, and our quality of sleep and overall experience of the apartment was ruined. We could not cook as it made the apartment too hot, we had to keep the shutters closed because we couldn't stand the heat. I feel like an appropriate response to this would have been for the hosts to purchase 2x fans to replace the broken ones during our stay - but they only suggested that we should go buy one from the shop infront of the key collection place. We did not want to purchase fans for an apartment we do not own - and what would we have done with the fans after our stay? We were not told if we would have been compensated for it. We were in Lake Como, mainly to go hiking. Due to the lack of sleep we got (from having no working fans), it did ruin, and made our hikes more difficult as we lacked energy. We were told to take the bins out at the end of our stay (absolutely fine!) But what they did not say, until we asked where to leave them - is that it was a 15 minute walk from the apartment. Which was ridiculous considering we were carrying our bags to go home, on top of that. Would not recommend to stay in peak heat.
