About this apartment rental
Beautiful 3 room apartment renovated in 2018, approx. 95sqm, close to the lake (50 meters), has a view of the lake, 2 parking spaces, large garden area. The apartment is characterized by a modern interior. In combination with the approx. 600-year-old ceiling in the main room of the apartment, which has been left in its original state, a very special flair is created.
Within 500 meters there is a lido with a kiosk, a farm shop, a butcher with fresh baked goods, a pharmacy and two restaurants, which are located directly on the lake.
For larger purchases, there is a Lidl (3 km), petrol station and e-bike rental with flea market items in the neighboring town of Öhningen.
The region is well known and popular for cycling trails.
Within a radius of 100 meters are boat docks for course cruises and a boat rental with guided tours.
Distances from Zurich / Constance, each about 40 minutes by car.
On the weekends July 20th - July 21st and July 26th - 28th the traditional beach festivals take place, which are about 50 meters away from the apartment.
The Swiss border is only about 5 km away. The traditional old town of Stein am Rhein is extremely worth seeing and is ideal for a day trip. On August 1st there will also be a big firework display for the national holiday.
Approximately The Rhine Falls are 30 minutes away by car in Schaffhausen.
Approximately There is a bus stop 3 minutes' walk away.

Please note that the municipality of Öhningen charges tourist tax. The tourist tax is € 1.50 per person per day in the high season and € 1.00 in the low season. The main season covers the period from 1. April to 31 October, the low season the period from 1st January to 31 March and from 1st November to 31 December. The day of arrival and the day of departure are counted together as one day of stay.
Children up to the age of 15 Are exempt from the tourist tax. The amount is to be paid separately and is paid in full to the municipality.

We had such a wonderful time in and around Wangen which is very beautiful. Johanna was an amazing host and made us feel so welcome on arrival and kindly left us a bottle of wine. She even brought along a friend to translate both on the day we arrived and when we left which was very thoughtful and it really helped (thank you to Ivan too!) Her apartment is gorgeous, so clean with great facilities and it even has automatic blackout blinds which kept it lovely and cool during the day as it was particularly hot during our visit. Johanna also gave us great tips and brochures - for example she recommended a great place for hiring bikes and e-bikes which was very close to her property and enabled us to enjoy cycling into Switzerland. We all loved the football table which we used every evening and it kept our boys particularly happy! Thank you so much Johanna.

Diese Ferienwohnung hat unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen. Die Lage ist fantastisch, die Wohnung ist außerordentlich geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Küche ist mehr als perfekt ausgestattet (z. B. Kaffeevollautomat, Kühl-Gefrierschrank, Mikrowelle, Eierkocher, Handmixer, Grillbesteck). Die große Terrasse mit Seeblick, Kugelleuchten auf dem Rasen und die angrenzende Grillecke sorgte für einen unvergesslichen Urlaub.
Der freundliche Empfang durch Frau Bölle mit kulinarischen Empfehlungen und vielen Informationen über die Region war für uns sehr hilfreich. Besser geht es nicht! 1000 Dank 👑

Wir durften 1 Woche in dieser wunderschönen Ferienwohnung, direkt am See, bei traumhaftem Wetter verbringen. Sehr nette Gastgeberin, die viel Infoprospekte sowie gute Tipps (Ausflüge/Restaurants) für Ihre Gäste hat und Willkommensgetränke standen sogar auch schon bereit. Durch das Gartentürchen hinaus und schon ist man direkt am See und kann im Wasser schwimmen. Anschließend kann man herrlich in dem großen Garten auf den Liegen relaxen. Da braucht man gar kein Strandbad, dies wäre jedoch nach ein paar hundert Metern erreichbar. Schwimmschuhe sind empfehlenswert aufgrund der Steine am Ufer. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet, im maritimen Stil, tolle ausgestattete Küche, hier fehlt es an nichts! Betten sind bequem und mit verstellbarem Lattenrost (weich/hart). Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt. Mehrere Restaurants sowie ein toller Hofladen mit guten Backwaren und frischem Obst sind fußläufig erreichbar. Im Nachbarort Öhningen gibt es einen Lidl. Nur wenige Meter entfernt befindet sich die Schiffsanlegestelle. Hier kann man bis Schaffhausen bzw. bis Konstanz fahren. Beides sehr zu empfehlen! Auch viele andere Sehenswürdigkeiten (Insel Mainau, Stein am Rhein) sind gut zu erreichen.
Wir waren schon öfters am Bodensee und haben hier, auch aufgrund der schönen ruhigen Lage, unsere perfekte Ferienwohnung gefunden! Wir sagen nochmals danke, liebe Frau Bölle, wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder :)

Diese Fewo ist wirklich superschön. Die Einrichtung, das Equipment der Küche, alles passt. Der Blick von der Küche aus auf den See und das gegenüberliegende Ufer: Klasse! Und die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
