We had a fantastic holiday!we wanted for nothing!Lydie was a very thoughtful and caring host!We reccomend la motte very highly!In the hot weather the pool was very welcome!And we loved the two affectionate chiens!!!

1st - 30th October La Motte is the perfect place to relax and unwind. There is no trafice passing and no light polution, when the stars come out they shine. There is a lot of interesting places and a lovely pa rk in Richelieu for walks. Our host Lydie certainly knows how to make you welcome and is there if you need anything. There are lots of leaflets and books to help you get started and we were sad to leave at the end of October. Definately worth a visit thank you Lydie.

This is a characterful, charming property, well equipped by the delightful owner, Lydie. We were warmly welcomed by Lydie and her lovely, gentle dogs. The location is a short drive from the beautiful town of Richelieu where there is a gorgeous park and many interesting buildings. We enjoyed the markets and châteaux in the area.At the gîte Lydie has a heated indoor swimming pool which was used every day. Lydie has thoughtfully provided everything that you might need on holiday. Highly recommended.

La Motte is the perfect Loire holiday gite in the quiet and beautiful countryside. La Motte is well located to visit all the beautiful medieval towns and chateux’s. Lydie is a fantastic host and we hope to visit again. Thank you
